Tuesday, September 20th, 2011When in 2002 the company Adidas has invited the famous Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto to the position of creative director of a new line of sportswear, one could not imagine what a huge success then would be Y-3 brand. From now recognizable symbol Adidas – three bands – was associated not only with a comfortable athletic clothing and footwear, but also with cutting-edge design by Yamamoto. The collection of the Y-3 designer's love of muted, dark tones, and often complex tailoring acquired a whole new sound. Black in contrast with the vivid detail, innovative materials and new forms of sports apparel – namely sporty fashion designer allowed to reach their full talent and create a completely new product design. In a new collection of Y-3 Spring-Summer 2007 again brought cutting-edge clothing for fitness and recreation: three-dimensional pullovers and jackets, sports trousers and skirts, shoes and a variety accessories with the same three-lane design firm Adidas and Yamamoto. Revolutionary symbiosis of sport and fashion continues!
